Horse Assisted Therapy for Veterans "As prey animals, horses are hypervigilant until they learn they are not in danger. ... Because of their own hypervigilance, veterans with PTSD easily understand and can relate to the trust and hypervigilance in a horse."  Read more about Horse Assisted Therapy.

Dubonnet (aka "Doobie") is nothing short of a sweetheart!  He is a 16+ hand chestnut warmblood and is as brave as they come!  He loves people and other horses alike!  He also just LOVES to jump!  With a jump that will unseat even the most seasoned equestrians, he has always required a special rider to stay seated while navigating the jumper courses.  He has shown all over the US and is happy to be hanging around the barn now!  And, he enjoys grazing and checking out the property and even likes heading into the lake to cool off!
