Horse Assisted Therapy for Veterans "As prey animals, horses are hypervigilant until they learn they are not in danger. ... Because of their own hypervigilance, veterans with PTSD easily understand and can relate to the trust and hypervigilance in a horse."  Read more about Horse Assisted Therapy.

Dubonnet (aka "Doobie") is nothing short of a sweetheart!  He is a 16+ hand chestnut warmblood that was foaled in 2001!  He loves people and other horses alike!  He is a retired jumper with flashy white markings!  He has shown all over the US and is happy to be hanging around the barn now!

His favorite meal is breakfast, he whinnies and paws the ground until he is fed every morning.

One of Doobie’s favorite past times is his “Spa Treatments” with essential oils and light massage by (his favorite volunteer Marge).
